Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Pawtreva (the "Site"), operated by Pawtreva ("we," "us," "our"). By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and able to form a binding contract to use this Site or make a purchase.

2. Products & Product Descriptions

We source products through third-party manufacturers and suppliers. We make reasonable efforts to display accurate descriptions, images, and pricing, but do not warrant that product descriptions, colors, images, or other content are accurate, complete, current, or error-free.
Product images (including studio/background-edited photos) are for illustrative purposes; slight variations in color, size, or packaging from the supplier may occur.
We reserve the right to correct pricing or description errors, limit order quantities, and refuse or cancel any order, at our discretion, at any time — including after an order has been placed.

3. Orders & Payment

All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including suspected fraud, pricing errors, or unavailability of stock, with a full refund issued for cancelled orders.
Payment is processed by third-party payment processors (Shopify Payments, Stripe, and/or PayPal); we do not store your full payment card details.

4. Shipping & Delivery

This Site operates on a dropshipping model — products ship directly from third-party suppliers/warehouses, often internationally.
Delivery times shown are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays, loss, or damage caused by customs, carriers, weather, or other events beyond our reasonable control.
Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon our delivery to the shipping carrier.

5. Returns & Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

6. Intended Use & Product Disclaimers

Pet products sold on this Site (harnesses, grooming tools, feeders, etc.) are intended for general consumer pet-care use only and are not a substitute for veterinary advice.
You are responsible for supervising your pet's use of any product and discontinuing use if signs of discomfort, injury, or malfunction occur.
We are not liable for injury, illness, or damage resulting from product misuse, improper fit, or failure to follow included instructions.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND ALL PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Pawtreva AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR ANY PRODUCT PURCHASED THROUGH IT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR ORDER SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT(S) GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

(Note: some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.)

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pawtreva from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Site, violation of these Terms, or misuse of any product purchased.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — text, graphics, logos, product photography, and edited images — is the property of Pawtreva or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

11. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Site to: violate any law; transmit malware; attempt unauthorized access to our systems; scrape or resell content without permission; or engage in fraudulent orders or chargebacks made in bad faith.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your purchase shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation by contacting pawtreva@gmail.com.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
